Real change = (1 + nominal) ÷ (1 + CPI change over the same months) − 1. Deflator: CPI-U all items (BLS CUUR0000SA0). A different deflator (e.g. PPI all commodities) would shift the absolute numbers but rarely the ranking. Series start 2015 or later where noted; "—" means the window predates the series.
