Price trends are the full monthly FRED series for the mapped commodity or PPI; “not mapped” means no good free series exists for this category. “All producers' revenue” adds up the total company revenue of every tracked producer of the material — an order-of-magnitude sense of the sector's size, not a precise market figure (it counts each producer's whole business, including unrelated segments). “World trade share” is the share of global goods trade carried by the HS products we matched to the material, from the AIPNET production-network dataset (Fetzer, Lambert, Feld & Garg 2024) — see methodology §6.
